For years, I worked alone churning out personal essays and magazine articles on a wide range of topics. I loved the work, but craved more personal connection. Then, I got the opportunity to teach and quite unexpectedly fell in love with the classrom, the conference hall, and the wise adult students I'm privileged to interact with each week.
